Wedding dresses are a true luxury in a world of fast fashion, together we will create a cherished heirloom and if you so wish we can also rework it after your wedding day if you would love to wear it again.
The Journey
Once you decide to commission your vision, the immersive journey begins, giving you the opportunity to choose every detail of your gown no matter how small or personal.

Working to an 8-12 month timeframe, following the initial consultation. I set to work illustrating initial ideas by hand, and working with you, refining the design and sourcing the most special fabrics. I can also work with you to create bespoke appliques and embroidery, whether this is for the entire dress, a particular section or perhaps monogramming initials, secret messages or your wedding date.
Once the dress design is chosen, measurements are then taken and fabrics ordered, some of which can take up to 3 months to create.

And every step of the way, Carolyn will guide you confidently so the journey is enjoyable and memorable, ensuring a smooth process, perfect fit of the silhouette and construction of your gown. Once your gown is complete a further series of final fittings will take place, alongside any couture or hand-finishing required.
